After numerous failed attempts at finding jobs, both Sang-su and Jeong-o join a police academy in hopes of joining the force.

Instead of attending to a family emergency Oh Yang-chon helps his mentor track down a suspect that got away many years ago.

The rookies' first crime scene catches the trio off guard. Yang-chon finds evidence that he can use to clear his name.

Yang-chon seems to be giving everyone a hard time, specifically Sang-su. Jeong-o is shaken up after responding to a report of domestic violence.

Everyday is filled with problems for the officers at Hongil from difficult cases to personal family matters.

After a mistake results in a criminal escaping the scene, someone from the team has to take responsibility and get sent to internal affairs. The team also goes on a team-building outing and rivalries are formed.
